Cornwall Fire Risk Assessments by JCH Safety is looking to work with experienced freelance fire risk assessors as we continue to grow across Somerset, Devon and Cornwall.

JCH Safety is an independent health and safety and fire risk assessment consultancy. Through Cornwall Fire Risk Assessments, we help organisations across the South West access professional, practical fire safety advice.

Our work covers a broad range of premises including workplaces, schools, hospitality venues, community buildings and residential accommodation.

Who we're looking for

Experienced, professional assessors.

We are particularly interested in hearing from freelance assessors who combine technical competence with clear, practical communication for clients.

Assessment experience Demonstrable experience carrying out professional fire risk assessments.
Clear reporting Ability to produce accurate reports with practical, prioritised recommendations.
Professional judgement An understanding of the limits of your competence and a commitment to working within them.
Client communication A professional and straightforward approach with clients and building managers.
South West coverage Availability to undertake assignments in Somerset, Devon or Cornwall.
Reliable delivery A professional approach to appointments, reporting and agreed timescales.
